It is imperative to acknowledge that a good
wine can only be as good as its storage environment.

Beauty is personal, the most intimate

And that’s why we have options for you
The personal aspect, the most intimate face
of sensory perception.
Cave do Vinho has been creating bespoke wine rooms for over a decade. We continue to lead and innovate on the conversion of spaces into unique wine rooms. We integrate and reconcile aesthetics with function. Without distorting the visual language, we let the wine be the centrepiece of your space.
We design your wine room as a standalone project or we incorporate it with the plans of your interior designer or architect. Each project has simplicity and maximization of storage at its core, and thanks to this approach, we remain at the forefront of innovation and design.
We specialize in the integrating of hygrothermal needs
(how heat and moisture move through buildings)
with careful adaptations of the architecture of
each location.

Perhaps the only Portuguese company that since 2009 is exclusively dedicated to creating conditions for the storage and conservation of your wine.
The challenge is to ensure that the technical issues do not interfere with the layout and aesthetics of the wine room. We can achieve great results through creative collaboration between our team of experts and your design team, contractor, developer and client.
Wine requires very specific hygrothermal conditions. The installation of a wine room above-surface requires the use of cooling equipment to guarantee a temperature between 12º and 14º, while simultaneously, and constantly, preserving the relative humidity of the air between 70% and 80%.
A wine cellar must be a micro-climate, and for this reason it is crucial to isolate it from the outside environment. The building of thermal and insulation barriers prevents the appearance of condensation in the structures adjacent to the wine room, provides thermal mass and reduces energy loss.
